BLK2FLY
Released in 2022, the BLK2FLY drone created by LEICA, is an autonomous flying laser scanner with advanced obstacle avoidance. It records exteriors of buildings, structures and environments to create 3D point clouds during its flight. Dronavia has had the pleasure of collaborating with Leica, developing a bespoke Parachute Recovery System (PRS).

TUNDRA 2
Launched in 2023, the Tundra 2 drone, developed by HEXADRONE, is an ultra-modular drone that can be completely dismantled. Designed in France, the Tundra 2 is a genuine tool-carrying platform. Dronavia had the pleasure of collaborating with Hexadrone, developing a Parachute Recovery System (PRS) and an internal Flight Termination System coupled with a plug & play Geocaging module.
“The R&D department’s priority on this project was to offer three plug and play systems (rescue parachute, FTS & Zephyr CC module & ScaleFlyt Geocaging), designed to provide telepilots with safety solutions that are quick to install. The second priority was to work on reducing the weight of our systems to enable us to maintain similar flight performance, with or without our modules.”
