press release: Kronos MVC3 manufacturer maintenance campaign

Dronavia announces the official launch of a manufacturer maintenance campaign for Kronos MVC3 systems sold before 13 June 2025.

“Dear customer,

Dronavia announces the official launch of a manufacturer maintenance campaign for Kronos MVC3 systems sold before 13 June 2025. The campaign, which is free of charge and mandatory, involves the return of the parachute systems to Dronavia’s workshops and includes updating the Kronos MVC3 system to our latest Kronos InfinitySafe firmware version, as well as issuing a new C5 documentation, now required by EASA and the main civil aviation authorities in Europe.

These updates, both firmware and regulatory, are mandatory to ensure that your system complies with the latest EASA requirements and to preserve your manufacturer’s warranty. We invite you to contact Dronavia or your authorised reseller in France or Europe without delay in order to initiate support for your system.

This free manufacturer’s maintenance campaign gives you one year’s free maintenance including replacement of the POD (value: €49.99), a two-year manufacturer’s warranty extension, and makes the system compatible with the Dronavia RetroUpdater software for future remote updates. You will also receive a new C5 documentation (official change of manufacturer, single declaration of conformity, change of serial number, mandatory labels) now required by EASA to guarantee traceability, transparency and enhanced regulatory compliance.

Only the cost of shipping the Kronos MVC3 parachute system to Dronavia remains at the customer’s expense. The rest is fully covered by Dronavia. Allow approximately 10 working days between dispatch of your equipment and its return, including updates, maintenance and reshipment. Thank you for your trust and commitment. Let’s work together to make low-level skies safer!
