“Dear customers,Dronavia announces the official release of the new Kronos InfinitySafe firmware, applicable to Kronos M350, M30 and I3 parachute systems sold before June 13, 2025. This update can be carried out remotely, directly by the user, via the dedicated software Dronavia RetroUpdater.

This update is mandatory to ensure regulatory compliance with the latest EASA requirements and to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty of your system. We kindly ask you to update your Kronos M350, M30 or I3 without delay, following the procedure provided. Attention: starting February 1st, 2026, any system that has not been updated will no longer be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

The new Kronos InfinitySafe firmware meets the latest requirements of EASA and the main European civil aviation authorities, introducing new safety standards as well as technological components that are now mandatory for certain regulated operations. With this update, Dronavia strengthens the reliability of its parachute systems through two major features: an automatic lock below 20 meters to prevent any ineffective or unintended deployment, and a power-up function available only when the system is connected to an active drone, thereby reducing the risk of mishandling on the ground. In addition to these improvements, Kronos InfinitySafe also includes the correction of minor bugs identified through field feedback and continuous system performance monitoring.

Kronos M350, M30 and I3 systems can be updated directly by the user using the dedicated Dronavia RetroUpdater software, available for download on our website.
