How can I carry out maintenance on Kronos systems without triggering the parachute?

Kronos parachutes require maintenance every year to ensure optimum performance.

An expiry date is indicated on each POD. Dronavia declines all responsibility and cancels the guarantee of your system if your POD has passed this expiry date.

You can exchange your POD that has passed the use-by date for a new POD at a special price.

How do I exchange my POD?

Whether your POD is used or needs annual maintenance, you can exchange it for a new POD at a special price.

Buy a POD exchange and send us your POD. When we receive your POD, we’ll send you the new POD.

Resetting your Kronos parachute takes just a few minutes. All you have to do is replace your triggered POD with a new one, and then carry out a few simple maintenance operations yourself, as explained and detailed in the parachute user manual and tutorial videos.

You can either buy a new POD or exchange your deployed POD for a new one at a special price.

The CO2 cartridge is the only consumable to be changed on the system after deployment, and a cartridge costs just a few euros.
